Proton exchange membrane fuel cell performance investigation considering internal heterogeneity of current density – A novel method study

چکیده

The remaining useful lifetime (RUL) of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) has been influenced by the heterogeneous distribution. In this presented paper, a novel method considering internal heterogeneity is proposed and investigated to manage operation thus prolonging lifetime. This including mathematic steps quantification, normalization, coordinate transformation, converts conventional power-current density curve into power-heterogeneity curve. electro-thermal mapping device applied measure physical-field single during polarization tests under different temperature conditions. validated results in current region 750–860 mA cm−2 curves conditions 50 °C 60 °C. shows effectiveness make operate at lower extent meanwhile similar performance.
